Enterprise resource planning systems (ERP systems) provide the central standard applications in a large number of companies. Today, the solutions of SAP, Navision, Peoplesoft or AP aren't just a standard in the finance or controlling area. By now they provide the base for planning, managing and administrating in the areas of human resources or production as well. In connection with the processes represented in ERP systems extensive data and documents are produced, which must be managed outside the ERP system. Thus, e.g. the connection between accounting record, order document and invoice is elaborate and results in multiple decentralized document filing.

This trend was recognized by COI some years ago and taken into account during software development. Therefore we support the standard interface ArchiveLink of SAP, for example. In addition to this standard connection, innovative solutions were developed which optimize the processes of the ERP system, e.g. the digital invoice handling. For this COI solutions offer automatic data extraction from incoming invoices, matching with the receipt document in the ERP system and preparing the corresponding entry in the ERP system. A manual information acquisition from the original invoice is avoided. A simple key press is enough and the next accounting entry can already be processed.

Moreover, special solutions offer you access to ERP system data without the user having to use an SAP client. This offers cost and process optimization since employees can also access the corresponding data without the SAP system. An additional advantage for your company arises as you can also access ERP data indirectly and file creation can be done digitally outside of SAP.
