Every community is currently being faced with the eGovernment slogan. Electronic processing of public administration procedures is at the forefront of modernization of current administration structures.

The introduction of these new systems into public administration, for example in the departments of online services, party correspondence, billing and personnel management is contributing to increasing citizen-friendliness, higher user-friendliness, offering of flexible connection possibilities to citizens and accelerating successful data exchange between citizens, officials and companies. In view of empty tills, smaller budgets and dwindling resources, simplified and automated structures and processes can be achieved in a cost-efficient way through IT systems. Electronic media is also becoming increasingly important for authorities. The scanned-in document is replacing the paper-filled file. Online forms and applications render other channels to the authorities superfluous.

Solutions based on COI-BusinessFlow have spread both on the state and the federal level. FAVORIT OfficeFlow, which was developed together with T-Systems and the Federal Administration Agency, has been established as a leading product within the framework of independent studies.
